Burns Company has two LEED AP's on staff to help with your LEED Project Material Recovery Recycling questions. Our overall facility recovery rate is approximately 85-95%. Burns Facility sorts, processes, and recovers discarded materials. Materials can be commingled in one container or source separated on-site. Loads received at the facility are viewed and documented for recyclable content. Materials are sorted, recovered and processed into reusable products.
A Waste Management Plan is available. The Plan includes narrative describing Customer and Burns Company recycling process and object, recyclable materials list, recycled materials and waste destination list, recycled percentage goals. All Burns Company loads are recorded. Outside haulers must request documentation service. There is no charge for the recycled content documentation/report service.
